Before founding Symbiosys, Bashar spent seven years at Google as their Director of Product Management, leading Search Ads 360 and Display & Video 360, two of the most widely used ad platforms in the world.
Prior to Google, Bashar led product management and applied science teams for Microsoft Advertising. With over 15 years’ experience building world-class digital ad platforms, Bashar now wants to revolutionize retail media, unlocking growth for both retailers and brands.
John Roswech has worked with the world’s largest brands, retailers, media companies and tech providers for over 20 years. He’s a recognized leader in the retail media industry.
John was part of the executive team at HookLogic, before its $250 million acquisition by Criteo, where he went on to lead global commercial operations. John was also an advisor for CitrusAd, who were acquired by Publics in 2021. Along with serving on several not-for-profit boards, John has guided the rapid growth of two additional start-ups.
Dan Cooke has over 15 years’ experience in the ad tech industry, developing software at scale. Prior to becoming Symbiosys’ Senior VP of Engineering, he led software and engineering teams at HookLogic, before its acquisition by Criteo.
Along with his wife, Jennifer, he also manages another team – four endlessly energetic children.
For 18 years, AJ Johnson led Target’s growth and digital media teams in the United States, overseeing ad tech and mar tech capabilities, along with a booming software portfolio. The last six of those years were spent at Roundel, Target’s in-house retail media network, spearheading product and business development. AJ heads up Symbiosys’ strategic partnerships division, driving value for brands and retailers alike.
Jon Opdyke is a legend in the retail media space, having co-founded HookLogic – then leading the company as CEO – before its $250 million acquisition by Criteo in 2016. Today, he’s a successful tech entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor. Jon is a managing member of Beyond Hook Ventures, and a partner in Greatwater Opportunity Capital. He helps guide the strategic direction of Symbiosys.
Patrick Miller has been a pioneer in digital retail media since 2010. He has a track record of building exponential online growth.
In 2014, Patrick co-founded digital commerce provider, Flywheel Digital, leading the company from success to success, until it was acquired by Ascential in 2018. Today he’s the Co-President of Digital Commerce at Ascential, managing all product and technology initiatives for the Flywheel brand.
